
Michalis is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) since 2011 and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) since 2012. He holds an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School (City University, London) and a BA in Accounting and Finance from University of Kent at Canterbury.
Michalis has over 10 years of audit experience and began his career in a Big Four firm in Cyprus where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He subsequently moved to Guernsey, Channel Islands, to work for a Top Ten firm there before moving back to Cyprus and joining Primus.
He has a wide range of experience across many industries including the financial services, in particular Funds and Investment Managers in a range of asset classes, insurance captives and investment companies, trading companies and owner managed business. Michalis is also experienced in leading group audit assignments and co-ordinating with overseas territories.
He has a wealth of experience in advisory roles in particular with advising and assisting clients with their listing on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, preparation and review of business plans, cash flow projections, valuations and due diligence reports.
Michalis is well versed in the area of crypto-digital assets and blockchain technology, with 2 years of experience in the space, acting as consultant for several clients.
